A <em>clerihew <\/em>is a four-line poem about some person or other with an AABB rhyming pattern. The sort of thing Ogden Nash would have written if he&#8217;d been less pithy.<span id='easy-footnote-1-305' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/www.fecundity.com\/nfw\/2017\/11\/02\/release-the-doggerels\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-305' title='&lt;a href=&quot;http:\/\/consc.net\/misc\/clerihews.html&quot;&gt;Dean Zimmerman&lt;\/a&gt; calls it &amp;#8220;the lowest verse form in existence&amp;#8221;, but I&amp;#8217;m dubious of the ordering that makes it the zero element.
