At Daily Nous<\/a>, my paper with Emmie and Brandon on genre ontology is among the Heap of Links<\/em>. It’s free to download<\/a> at the journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Although Justin describes this as “open access” in the link text, that’s not quite right. Open access would mean a change to the license, which would mean free in an ongoing way. Rather, it’s only free for 90 days.<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s only free to download because Justin wrote to the editor and asked for it to be made free. It is his (commendable) policy not to put stuff that’s behind a paywall in the Heap of Links<\/em>.<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, there is an open access version of the paper. The draft on my site<\/a> is Green OA, available free now and whenever you’re reading this.<\/p>\n\n\n
